Mix the vinegar, sugar, and salt in a serving bowl and whisk till the sugar and salt are melted. Whisk in the
cucumber and onion. Put in fridge, let stand overnight. CUCUMBER SALAD WITH SPICY WASABI DRESSING Ingredients : one
half spoon dry wasabi powder ( or to sample ) half small spoon warm water two cucumbers two big spoons rice wine
vinegar 2 spoons sugar one teaspoon sesame oil salt and freshly ground black pepper one green onion - thinly
chopped one big spoon black sesame seeds or toasted white sesame seeds Directions : Mix the wasabi with warm water
in the base of a mixing bowl and let it stand for five minutes. Cut the cucumbers widthwise into 0.25 -inch
crescents. Mix in the sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Just before serving, add the cucumbers, green onion, and sesame
seeds to the dressing and mix well. CUCUMBER AND GREEN SEAWEED SALAD RECIPE Ingredients : two cucumbers two
radishes Salt as required one 3 / eight oz. green seaweed Dressing : 3 big spoons vinegar one small spoon soy sauce
one spoon sugar two little spoons kelp-flavoured fish stock Directions : Cut cucumbers and radishes into thin
rounds, salt and leave till dewatered. Wash with water and squeeze out salt water. Pour boiling water over green
seaweed and cut into bite-size pieces. Totally mix dressing ingredients and add to cucumbers and seaweed just
before serving.
