Preparing Nutritious Chicken Sandwich:
The chicken sandwiches, which are available at any good place one visits to have a
snack, in fact one is not in a position to get perfect chicken sandwich. The sandwich served usually makes a great
meal, but not the least a good sandwich.
The taste of sandwich served at most of the places is nothing more than a grilled
piece overdone with artificial flavors, spices and sauces of all sorts instead of improving upon its basic
goodness. The tasteless piece of chicken cutlet placed in between good bread pieces and creamy cabbage and salad
dressings. So much stuff in aggregation does not make a good sandwich.

Skinless, boneless chicken breasts, red bell peppers, sliced tomatoes,
mayonnaise sauce, Dijon-style mustard, olive oil, fresh thyme, ground black
pepper, red wine vinegar, salt and sliced of bread.

The secret facts behind a perfectly grilled chicken sandwich, is centered on the
chicken piece in it. To prepare a good chicken piece one should use lean skinless breast pieces. Remove any fat
tissue attached to the chicken breast by trimming it. Now pound the chicken breast to become flat and adjust the
thickness of the breast piece at all places uniformly around 1 inch. The breast piece now can be cut to desired
size.
Marinating Technique:
Now the chicken piece needs to be marinated in brine solution mixed with olive oil,
red wine vinegar. Do rubbing of chicken piece with marinating mixture. Use of marinating mixture makes the chicken
piece well moistened and soft.
By proper marinating, the chicken piece achieves its super tenderness during grilling
and increases the flavor of the grilled chicken. By marinating the grilled chicken is in a position to hold more
moisture in it and adds to its flavor. In the circumstances first marinating and later on rubbing the chicken with
salt is advisable.
Brining over the small chicken normally requires just thirty minutes only. It should
not be over marinated beyond thirty minutes. After 30 minutes chicken shall not absorb more water, the only thing

internal temperature before keeping the chicken pieces in it for grilling. In case while marinating some oil or
sugar is used, the pieces should be moved in the cooking range frequently so that there is no burning of the
chicken piece.
The cooking of chicken starts, when the internal temperature of the chicken pieces is
165 degree Fahrenheit. At this temperature the juices in side chicken start falling down and the meat has an even
whitish color.
By now almost all the work of roasting and grilling of the chicken piece are
completed.
Sandwich in the Making:
Prepare cabbage dressing mixture of finely chopped cabbage add cream and sauces,
pepper and salt to taste. Mix it along with mayonnaise.
Now is the time to bake a good sandwich bread loaf or source it from the market.
Slice the bread loaf uniformly and neatly, do little grilling and spread thin butter layer on bread slices.
Place one bread slice on the sandwich preparing table. Dress it with good quantity of
cabbage dressing prepared as above. Put the chicken pieces over the cabbage dressing.
On the top of chicken piece put thin tomato slice and cover with little more cabbage
dressing and finally put on it the second piece of bread. Cut the sandwich diagonally and wrap the cut pieces in
tissue paper and refrigerate it for cold serving.
Now the Chicken Sandwich is ready for serving along with grill roasted bell peppers,
pickle and it makes a perfect snack in between the meals to get an energy packed meal, which can substitute for
main course of a fancy meal.
